Alec Burks CU Buffs entire NBA Draft


NBA Draft on Thursday include the free advertising for the basketball program in Colorado.

After finishing the spring semester in May Burks worked for the Charlotte Bobcats, Cleveland Cavaliers, Milwaukee Bucks, Phoenix Suns, Sacramento Kings, Utah Jazz and the Washington Wizards.


Two years ago, Burks was only a fine rookie his first college class and lift weights seriously for the first time in his life. He was the Big 12 Freshman of the Year in his first season at CU with Jeff Bzdelik and an honorable mention AP All-American last season for Boyle.

Many people do not expect it from me, and I probably would not expect from me,  said Burks, who has not set hard Grandview, Missouri
Many people thought he was coming here to go home and work at a price local store or something.


Bzdelik, an NBA scout and former longtime head coach of Denver Nuggets, Burks knew he had a natural talent for playing to the next level, where he Boulder after three inches taller than when he committed the UC came.


Burks has the same agent, Andy Miller, and Chauncey Billups, who was an ambassador for the CU in the NBA since worked with the No. 3 draft pick in 1997 set.


Cory Higgins, of the entire UC scorer (tied with Richard Roby) won, is a possible second round. His father, Rod, is an executive with the Charlotte Bobcats.

Everyone is in a different way,  Higgins said.  I'll take it wherever he goes.
