Blocking potential of the very familiar Pierce NBA

These are moments mixed feelings as the players wait to be selected in the first round of the NBA Draft 23rd June

To listen to Commissioner David Stern, call her name would be a dream for many.

But with the league expected in terms of work, on average, the delay at the start of the season - a new collective agreement must, before 30 June to be received block that must be avoided - it is not known how long after the project if the players are selected later this month, those who play their first game of the NBA.

He averaged 16.5 points, 6.4 rebounds and 2.4 assists per game and was named to the NBA All-Rookie First.

Pierce, who serves as representative of the player for the Celtics, he spent much time this season, his team-mates to keep - especially young people - about what they have to do in the event of a lockout.


And his body,  said Pierce.

For younger players who are playing or exercising in the summer, regardless of employment status in the league.

But for veterans like him, the packaging is more important to the potential threat of a lockout.

This is what they lockout,  said Pierce, who will be 34 in October.  I saw a lot of people put an end to his career, set during the lockout, weight gain, more or less able. I do not return to the level of the game. I always stay ready. Even at my age, I think a lot of guys who run by the closure in October. November, brings people my age, without probably too lazy and not working. And then I'll bite if the blockade is lifted.
